Those precious moments that she brings along with approval is expected to charge people’s hearts with love energy, through a system they’ve created for this work.

However, it doesn’t make a significant impact most of the time. There are even fairly many tries when they completely fail to have any effect. It’s not led to give up, though. They do their best to stick with hope toward the world.

when the girl has free time, she mostly heads to a forest and spends her time on writing. Another world to dive in is existed there.

One day, as always, she visited the green hideout with a lot of thoughts about a story in her head.

But in a minute, she needed to stop her step, sensing something just hit her foot.

‘Why is a letter here? Or is it something different? There’s no way it’s like this in such a deserted place…?’

The girl is engulfed in tension and excitement at the same time as if she had entered the movie. She carefully picked up the mysterious object.

Then, the girl was so surprised by the tremendous energy which bursted out from it that she dropped it.

a letter of weakness that still doesn’t have a courage to get sent to you directly. If anyone finds it, please read. I hope this mind to be read by anybody.

This was what’s written at the bottom of the envelope.

Although she was afraid, the energy that she could not turn away was continuously spewing out, as if to express their frustration. Eventually, the girl opened the letter.

It was a long-time mind for some friend who this writer had a crush on, and now drifted apart from with not a single word of confession.

After respectful amount of time of thinking, the girl decided to take this love to the office.

In considerable(or considerate) discussions and still remaining worries, and above all, the great energy it keeps outpouring, they reached a conclusion that the letter is worth giving a try.

And… it made the biggest effect they’ve ever seen!

Those who realised how huge the power of sincerity that’s born in pencil marks and of dust that’s come from the struggle of finding better words to deliver their minds is finally came up with an idea.

그런데 첫 날, 참여가 저조할 것이라 예상한 것과 달리 적지 않은 사람들이 편지를 보내왔다. 가끔 이런 쓸데없는 걸 왜 하냐는 시비성 글도 들어왔지만 오랜만에 커다란 희망을 본 멤버들에게는 그리 큰 걸림돌이 되지 않았다. 그 중 기부자가 공개를 허가한 편지들이 세상에 공개되기도 하면서 그에 흥미를 얻은 점점 더 많은 사람들이 펜을 잡기 시작했다. 편지들은 역시 직접 전할 준비가 되지 않아 이곳에 대신 보내는 것들이 꽤 많았고, 정식으로 전할 편지를 쓰기 전에 예행연습처럼 써서 보내는 것들도 있었다. 사회에 기여하고자 가족이나 친구와 함께 참여하는 모습도 종종 볼 수 있었다.

사랑했던 사람에게, 지금 사랑하는 사람에게, 좋아하는 연예인에게, 반려동물에게, 지구에게, 삶에게

의도와 상황이 어떻든, 그 대상이 누구이든, 글자들 속에 깃든 애정 어린 마음만이 진심이라면 다른 건 모두 상관 없었다.

무엇보다 중요한 건, 세상은 아직 완전히 말라버린 게 아니었다는 것을 우리 모두 알게 되었다는 것이다. 하루하루가 버겁고 점점 냉소가 우세해지는 듯한 사회 속에서 작디작은 개인은 그 마음을 표현할 기회를 잡지 못 하거나 잠시 방법을 잊어버렸을 뿐 모두 마음 한 켠에 여전히 사랑을 지니고 있었다는 것을 정말 오랜만에 서로 확인하게 되었다는 것이다.

아무리 세상이 냉혹해보여도 작은 존재들의 선한 것이 모이면 무엇과도 맞설 수 있다.

애집부는 천천히 규모를 축소해가기 시작했다.

흔적을 보니 애집부에서 정리하던 중 가방에 딸려 들어온 것인 듯 했다. 소녀는 무심결에 편지를 열어본다. 이 또한 왠지 모르게 그래야 할 것 같았다.

소녀는 한참동안 편지에서 눈을 떼지 못 했다. 그리고는 생각에 잠긴다.

…

그렇게 평생 다시 만나지 않는다고 하더라도, 홀로 두 번째 세 번째 편지를 써내려간다 하더라도, 그저 그런 식으로 가끔 서로를 불러오며 각자의 굴곡을 그어나갈 뿐이라 하더라도, 그들이 나누고자 한 마음은 이미 모든 색을 띄고 있다. 그들은 이미 완전하다.
